Thai Cuisine Luncheons to Equip Christian Leadership in Biblical Counseling-Fall 2009

Seminar Description:

The Hope Recovery Clinic lunch seminars are designed to weekly refresh and equip pastors, their spouses, elders (key leadership), and caregivers in deeper levels of biblical counseling. At the same time, enjoy a Thai cuisine lunch followed by fitness training.

Beginning October 8, Paul will present the same biblical counseling material that he taught pastors at Northwestern College. The series includes new material from his Grace Theological Seminary training with Dr. Larry Crabb and Dr. Dan Allender. Paul will also use teaching examples from twenty-one years of clinical practice as a Christian licensed psychologist and marriage therapist.

Choose to attend one or all seven seminars. Each offers in-depth biblical counseling training to enhance your ability to practically counsel your church members who are struggling in one of the following areas:

Paul Singh came to Christ through the ministry of the Navigators. Paul and his wife, Beth, home school their five children, and attend Northridge Baptist church in Rogers, MN. Paul is a cancer survivor. He loves to camp, hike, fish, bike, and spend time writing at the north shore. Paul is also an executive life coach with Rekindling Life, LLC. He conducts national one-on-one life coaching, speaking engagements, and phone consultations.

The text for each seminar will be Rekindling Your Spirit: A Spiritual Journey into Personal Change, Intimacy and Sexuality by Paul Singh. The cost is $24.95 plus tax. Chapter eight describes the problems in post-fall living and chapter ten gives the biblical solution to rekindling your spirit through a life of authentic worship!

Walk-in registrations will be accepted, if space is available. Please bring your own lunch if you opt to fore-go the Luncheon option.

Hope Recovery Clinic is expanding its staff and is now able to add new clients. We will be hiring 8 new staff therapists who want to work in individual, marriage, or family therapy. Please refer those you care about who need biblical counseling in these areas to Hope Recovery Clinic at 763-525-9900.

In addition, the clinic’s biblical counseling internship and training program has 5 openings for graduate students who want to become biblical counseling therapists.
